Underground Service Location is where personnel locate current or existing underground assets prior to commencing any excavation.
Admin staff as part of the production of a project pack submit dial before you dig requests online. Plans of current underground assets are supplied by the relevant service providers indicating where their assets lie. These plans are therefore generated for the locating personnel to take on site. With the use of a locator, plans and experience the locators are able to mark where these assets will lie.
GUS can provide this service as part of a job or on a stand alone basis.
